TAIHO SHICHAU ZO TV SERIES
The visuals to this season are a great improvement from the first series with cleaner animation, smoother animated details and more vivid colors. The cast is still as likeable and fun to get latched on like earlier titles in the YUA franchise. The mentioned developments were a nice touch in this series as they added some linearity for a plot with the show (compared to earlier installments having self-contained plots in most instances) and featured development with the characters coming with the passage of time considering Saori's appearance and the mentioned opportunity. This second season also expands on developments from the first TV season where troublesome teen Saori is now a deputy officer for Bokuto, the relationship between Nakajima and Miyuki gets some advancement and some major developments in the second half of the series show the passing of time with an opportunity that tests the friendship between Miyuki and Natsumi. The nutty comedy of the series returns as you can expect characters like Strike Man and Scooter Lady to make their presence felt on any cases that involve Bokuto.
This second TV season retains all that was fun and enjoyable with earlier installments of the franchise, focusing on the everyday developments of Miyuki, Natsumi and the members of the Bokuto Police Station. Glad to hop back to another helping of You're Under Arrest.
